About
I am currently working as an Assistant Professor at NIT Warangal. My research mainly focused on the synthesis of bioactive molecules through various methodologies. I also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Eppley Cancer Research at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), Omaha. My research mainly focuses on synthesizing Regulated induced proximity targeting chimeras (RIPTACs) and Proteolysis Targeting Chimeras (PROTACs). I also worked as a PDRA in the Department of Chemistry at Purdue University, West Lafayette, USA. My research at Purdue focused on synthesizing selective G Protein Coupled Receptor (GPCR) kinase inhibitors and Natural Product Synthesis. Despite of current work, I have a broad background in synthetic organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry with specific training and expertise in the synthesis of small to complex molecular architectures in short path. As a Project Researcher, I have developed the new synthetic route for chiral nicotine's synthesis cost-effectively in a multi-gram scale. During my Ph.D., I successfully disclosed the novel reactivities of alkynes for the synthesis of medicinally impartment functionalized heterocyclic complexes and produced multiple publications along with various fascaplysin derivatives and other industrial collaborated projects. Outside of the lab, I enjoy watching movies, cooking food, drinking good beer, and spending time with family.
