About

Currently a Doctorate student in soft matter physics at KU Leuven. I did my Master's student at the Indian Institute of Technology- Bombay, in physics. Interested in light and sound to probe the biological world. Bio-imaging, biomedical optics, and optics & instrumentation, in general, struck a chord with me. Well-familiar with Ultrasound, HIFU therapy, and photoacoustic imaging. My master's project involved integrating Spatial Light Modulator (SLM) device with 4F optical system to carry out real-time processing of images. After my Master’s degree, I also worked at Indian Institute of Technology Madras for 6 months where I made the MATLAB code to process the ultrasound pulse data to perform Full Waveform Inversion for transcranial brain imaging. My PhD topic involves accelerated photoacoustic imaging for carrying out elastography in biological samples.
