Dr. Sanchita Mandal is currently working as an assistant professor in the Department of Pharm Tech. at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. She had qualified in GATE 2004, was Awarded UGC JRF in 2007 and the CSIR SRF (senior research fellowship) in 2010. She was awarded her PhD from Jadavpur University in 2012. She attended two oral presentations in Thailand and NTU Singapore. Stood 2nd in the International Workshop-Seminar on ‘Liposome: From Theory to Practice’ 2010. She has also been an Approved Mumbai University faculty member since 2012, and has worked at various colleges in Mumbai. Recently, she has published four books between 2021-24 and many Book Chapters, Research Articles and Review Articles. She also published an AU Patent, in December 2021, Australian Government IP Australia and a Design Patent in 2024, India. She has joined Jadavpur University in 2021. She is currently guiding four M. Pharm Student and three PhD students and working with silicone nanoparticles, combating anti-microbial resistance with hybrid Nano gel, film, IPN with different natural and synthetic polymer, Raft formation, Grafting, Synthesis of new polymer and metal composites. So far she has gained total experience of 19 years including Research and Teaching (15yr).
