About
I am an experimental high-energy and particle physicist working on Higgs physics, physics beyond the Standard Model, AI/ML-based particle reconstruction and identification, and detector instrumentation. My research within the CMS experiment at CERN focuses on Higgs physics in the diphoton final state, searches for additional low-mass Higgs boson, and Higgs boson pair production in the beyond standard model. I develop machine-learning techniques for electron and photon reconstruction, calibration, and identification, and conduct numerical simulation using Garfield++, COMSOL Multiphysics Softwares and experimental studies of Triple-GEM and Micro-Pattern Gaseous Detectors for high-rate radiation environment and imaging applications. I am also interested in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students in physics, with interests spanning classical mechanics, electrodynamics, quantum mechanics, mathematical physics, nuclear and particle physics, and related laboratory experimental techniques. My broader interests include experimental particle physics, artificial intelligence, Machine Learning based analyses, computational physics, radiation detector technologies, and advanced scientific instrumentation.
