About
Dr. Vidyadhar Singh is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Jai Prakash University, a public state institution located in Bihar, India. He completed his Master's degree in Physics, specializing in Condensed Matter Physics, from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, India. He received his Ph.D. in Physics in May 2011 from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, India. He worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) in Japan for six years, from 2012 to 2017. Before joining OIST, Dr. Singh served as an Assistant Professor at Lovely Professional University (LPU), the largest private institution in India, from July 2011 to February 2012. In June 2019, he was a visiting professor at the OIST in Japan, and duration Nov. 2024-Dec. 2024, he was a visiting associate professor at Guangdong Technion Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) in China. He has published over 100 papers and two invited book chapters in reputed international publishers. He has presented 40 invited talks/oral/posters at international/national conferences. He has jointly received four US patents. He is also a member of the editorial board of several international journals and a reviewer of more than 30 international journals. His present research is on the design and synthesis of inorganic nanostructured materials using the gas-phase condensation process and their applications.
