About

Dr Pabitra Mohan Behera is a Ph.D in Biotechnology from Centre of Biotechnology, Siksha O Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He received his Ph.D Degree in December 2015 after his successful completion of research work under the guidance of Prof. Payodhar Padhi and Prof. Sanghamitra Nayak. He joined Dr Anshuman Dixit group at Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar as National-Post Doctoral Fellow (DST-SERB) for his first Post-doctoral assignment. Then he stared an organization named Institute of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics with Mrs Swagatika Behera under the Company named BIOPRUDENCE RESEARCH INNOVATIONS LLP (AAU-9933) registered with ROC under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India and served as Application Scientist. Now he works as Research Associate (ICMR) with Redox Biology and Proteomics group led by Prof Luna Samanta of Department of Zoology, Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, Odisha.
From 2007 up to now, he has been engaged in various projects related to molecular modeling, drug design, bioinformatics, and computational biology and earned substantial amount of experience in cutting edge computational techniques including QSAR, pharmacophore modeling, homology modeling, molecular docking, virtual screening, molecular dynamics simulation, MM-GBSA/PBSA techniques and database management skills using a variety of software. He has also published a few research papers in various international journals and a few conference proceedings.
