About
I’m Suresh Bada Math, a professor of psychiatry working at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences, Bangalore, INDIA. I have completed my MD in Psychiatry. I have extensive experience in the field of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Forensic Psychiatry. I completed my Ph.D. in Law from the prestigious institute NLSIU, Bangalore, INDIA.
At present, I am heading the Forensic Psychiatry Unit, NIMHANS Digital Academy, General Psychiatry Unit-5, and Telemedicine at the institute. Doing my best to implement the National Mental Health Program and Tele MANAS program across India. I have authored 19 academic books and 423 scientific articles to date.
I aim to implement the National Mental Health Program in India and build a Forensic psychiatry specialty in India. My passion is teaching. I am actively pursuing teaching and training Psychiatry trainees and Psychology students in the area of mental health. One of my dreams is to make sure standard quality education is made available to all students in the area of mental health.
