About

Santosh C. H. is a gold medalist and rank holder in Master of Library and Information Science from Karnatak University, Dharwad and PhD from University of Mumbai. He also holds Masters in Mass Communication and Journalism and Diploma in Management.

He started his career as Documentation Assistant at IGIDR, Mumbai (2004) and British Council Library, Mumbai (2005). As College Librarian, he worked for 13 years in Mumbai. At present, he is University Librarian of Central University of Haryana. He also holds additional charges/responsibilities as Senior Coordinator, Office of International Affairs, Nodal Officer, BIRF (Research); Nodal Officer, ShodhGanga; Member, IPR Cell; Member, Research Promotion Board, etc.

He has delivered 400+ invited talks at various universities, UGC’s HRDCs, B-schools, colleges, etc. He is also a blogger and his articles are published on the ‘Impact Blog’ of London School of Economics. He is Editor of ‘Open Interview’, a crowd-sourced blog for interviewing experts. His interview of Peter Suber is featured on Harvard University website. On an invitation, he visited Cambridge University Library in June-July, 2024 for professional discussions.

He has organized several workshops and devised courses for researchers, educators and librarians. He is also actively engaged in voluntary projects and open consultancy.

He is passionate about teaching, training and blogging.
