About
I am a molecular and structural biologist specializing in G-quadruplex biology, transcriptional regulation, and nucleic acid–ligand interactions in cancer. I completed my Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Bose Institute, Kolkata (DST, Govt. of India) in affiliation with the University of Calcutta, and hold an Integrated BSc–MSc in Biotechnology (First Class Honours) from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.
My research focuses on the structural and functional roles of G-quadruplex DNA in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), combining molecular biology, biophysical characterization (ITC, CD spectroscopy, NMR), and computational modeling to explore regulatory mechanisms and therapeutic targeting strategies.
I have authored publications in Cell Calcium, Drug Discovery Today, and Advances in Colloid and Interface Science. I am broadly interested in mechanistic studies of nucleic acid structure–function relationships and their translational potential in cancer therapeutics.
