Dr. M.K.Jayanthi Kannan is working as Professor and HOD of the ISE Dept., in JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bangalore for the past 3.8 years and she worked as NBA Program Coordinator of CSE Dept., for May 2020- June 2021, M.Tech., Coordinator (AI, CS, DS and CSE Branches). She was a Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Dept., JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bangalore from Jan 2020- May 2022, NBA Criterion 5 Coordinator for the NBA Accreditation Process from the National Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technology, and served as NBA Program Coordinator of CSE Dept., from June 2020 to July 2021.

She worked as a Professor and Principal of Noble College of Engineering and Technology for Women from Nov 2018- Jan 2022 and She is ratified Principal of JNTU Hyderabad. She also ratified professor of CSE from JNTU Annathapure.

She worked as University Professor in Dept. of Computer Science at King Khalid University, Abha, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Quality Coordinator – NCAAA and ABET Accreditation Process from the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), USA for both the Departments Computer Science & Information Science, Al_Sameer Women’s College, King Khalid University, Abha, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 2013-2018 (5 years).

She worked as Professor and M.Tech., (Computer Science and Engineering) Course Coordinator during 2011 -2013 at VIT University, Vellore and she worked as Associate Professor from 1998 to Jan -2011 (12.6 Years) at SCSVMV University, Kanchipuram in Computer Science and Engineering Dept.

She Received VIT Research Award 2012-13 for Publishing 5
papers during the year 2012 in Scopus Indexed Research Journals.
Guided 8 Ph.D. Scholars produced 2 PhD. and Guiding 5 Ph.D. Scholars. Guided 4 M.Phil., 35 ME., / M.Tech., 5 M.S., students, 8 MBA., Dissertations. Published 6 Patents, 3 International Patents, and 3 Indian Patents published in her Name for both Innovation and invention., published 87 high-quality research papers in refereed International Journals like MDBI, Tech Press, World Scientific, 28 Scopus, 7 SCI Indexed, SCIE, WOS, and 23 UGC Care Papers and published Two Books published by IGI Global Publishers, USA.

She published more than 87 high-quality research papers in refereed International Journals like World Scientific, IEEE Explore, World Applied Sciences, 6 papers in National Research Journals, 11 in International conference papers presented and published. She published Two Books through IGI Global Publishers, USA.

She has submitted an R&D PROJECT PROPOSAL Titled “ e-Learning System Design using Mobile Agent-based Learning Objects” to the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Department of Information Technology. She Received VIT Research Award 2012-13, the Best Faculty award from SCSVMV University 2008, and NFED Teachers Day Award from NATIONAL FOUNDATION FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT, TEACHER’S DAY AWARD – 2013. She is WIPRO and ISTE Certified Mission10X Certificate in Teaching and Learning, Completed Mission10X Advance Certification, DALE CARNEGIE TRAINING certification on High Impact Teaching Skills from DALE CARNEGIE TRAINING and Cambridge International Certificate for Teachers and Trainers.
She is Member of IEEE, ISTE, ACCST, IBM-SIG Core group member, TIFACCORE and CSI. Reviewer and Editorial Board Member International refereed Journals. She worked as Member of Academic council, Member of Board of Studies, Member of Board for Entrance Examinations, Additional Chief Spud. for University Theory Exams, External Examiner for Practical examinations.
