About
Associate Professor in Computer Science and Engineering. Have 7.3 years of industrial experience (medical imaging applications) at various positions, 5 years of research (Ph.D.), 2 years as Project Manager in a government funded project and four years of academic teaching experiences. I am a passionate researcher working on developing low-cost medical imaging software products. My research interests are, Medical Image processing, Diagnostic Imaging Modality Big Data Analytics, Radiation Oncology workflow, DICOM, Machine Learning in Radiology images, Cancer diagnosis using medical imaging modalities, Software design, development, Agile and Lean Methodologies, and Elevating research prototypes to a medical software product, IEC 62304. A senior member in I.E.E.E, Corresponding member of European Society of Radiology (Vienna), Korean Society of Radiology (Seoul), and life member of Bio-medical Engineering Society of India. Have volunteered in various FDP for the benefit of the Students and the Faculties.
