Shoaib Iqbal is currently pursuing Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), Belgium. His research interests are in the field of energy efficiency analysis of mechanical components, friction, and multi-physics modeling. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering (B.E.) in 2004 at Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, India. He earned his M.Tech.degree (specialization in Automobile Engineering) in 2006 from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), University of Mumbai, India. He has some professional experience with the focus on Powertarin NVH and Testing, while working as a Manager, at Engineering Research Centre, of Tata Motors, India.
