About
I am an accomplished Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (Deputed in First Year Computer Science) at Chandigarh University (CU), Mohali, with extensive experience in Signal Processing, Internet of Things (IoT), and Machine Learning applications. My academic journey spans a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) in 2006, followed by an M.Tech and Ph.D. in Communication and Information Systems from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in 2012 and 2019, respectively.
My passion for teaching, research, and innovation has enabled me to make significant contributions to academia and technology. I have authored over 40+ research articles in prestigious international/national (SCI/Scopus) journals and conferences and have successfully guided one Ph.D. scholar in my research domain.
I am also certified in Deep Learning and the Internet of Things (IoT), having earned a Specialization Certificate from Coursera, enhancing my practical knowledge in AI model development, deployment, and IoT system implementation. This expertise allows me to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world applications. In addition to my academic role, I serve as a Course Mentor at DeepLearning.AI, where I support and guide learners in mastering the core concepts of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. My contributions to curriculum development were recognized with the Best Curator Award for designing an in-house course on the Internet of Things (IoT) on the Coursera platform.
