Vinit Kumar is an experienced researcher and academician who has authored several scholarly publications in the fields of library and information science, cultural heritage management, COVID-19 modeling, sentiment analysis, and higher education. Kumar has made significant contributions to the study of web accessibility of Indian cultural heritage information, and library service quality studies. He has conducted research using text analysis to study doctoral-level library and information science research trends in India and has modeled global COVID-19 dissemination data after the emergence of the Omicron variant using multipronged approaches. Kumar has also conducted studies on news content uploaded by India's top five Hindi news networks and assessed spelling and typographical errors in WebOPAC of academic libraries. Additionally, he has evaluated a performance-based evaluation and funding model for central universities in India and compared information behavior studies in the United States and India.
