About
Ram Prakash Yadav, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher at Uppsala University, Sweden, specializing in single-cell epigenomics and molecular technology development. He obtained his PhD in Molecular Medicine (physiology) from the University of Turku, Finland, where he investigated RNA-mediated regulation of pericentric heterochromatin and epigenetic mechanisms in male germ cell differentiation, with a particular focus on the non-canonical roles of the RNase III endonuclease DICER. His current research develops and applies innovative single-cell technologies to study gene regulation, cellular heterogeneity, and disease mechanisms. He is co-inventor of scFFPE-ATAC, a high-throughput single-cell chromatin accessibility technology enabling epigenomic profiling of FFPE tissues. His research interests include single-cell and multi-omics approaches, RNA and chromatin biology, epitranscriptomics, cancer biology, and scalable molecular platforms for biomedical and translational research.
