About

I am a researcher specializing in nanomaterials, photocatalysis, electrocatalysis, and biomaterials for sustainable energy, environmental, and biomedical applications. I obtained my Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, IIT (BHU), India, where my research focused on the design and development of advanced heterostructure nanocomposites based on novel 2D materials for photocatalytic hydrogen (H₂) evolution, hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) production, ammonia (NH₃) generation, and wastewater remediation.

My research integrates experimental approaches with computational techniques, including classical molecular dynamics simulations, to understand material behavior and optimize catalytic performance for clean energy and environmentally sustainable technologies. I have worked extensively on semiconductor heterostructures, photocatalytic and electrocatalytic systems, with a focus on improving charge separation, interfacial engineering, and catalytic efficiency.

My research interests include photocatalysis, electrocatalysis, semiconductor heterostructures, hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), oxygen evolution reaction (OER), advanced functional nanomaterials, and bone substitute biomaterials for healthcare applications.

Currently, I am working as a Research Scientist at Orthoflex Innovation, where I focus on the development of advanced biomaterials and bone void fillers for bone implant applications.
