About
As an environmental researcher, I specialise in microplastics, biomarkers, and emerging organic and inorganic contaminants across aquatic, atmospheric, and other complex environmental matrices.
My work focuses on developing and refining robust analytical methods for the extraction, identification, and quantification of both anthropogenic and natural pollutants. With hands-on expertise in advanced instrumentation, including GC-MS, ICP-MS, SEM-EDX, Raman spectroscopy, ATR-FTIR, and fluorescence microscopy, I investigate the pathways, sources, and ecological impacts of pollutants that enter and accumulate in ecosystems.
By integrating multi-environmental field studies with laboratory-based contaminant profiling and biomarker analysis, my research provides actionable insights into pollution dynamics. I aim to support stakeholders, environmental managers, and policymakers in implementing effective mitigation and remediation strategies that advance resilient, sustainable environmental practices.
