About
I am Dr. Moattar Raza Rizvi, a Professor of Medical Physiology and currently serving as the Dean of the College of Healthcare Professions at DIT University, Dehradun. With over two decades of academic and leadership experience, I have held key positions such as Dean of School of Allied Health Sciences, Additional Dean of Research, Director Research Development Cell, and Head of Department (Physiotherapy) in institutions across India and Saudi Arabia. My academic journey has been defined by a passion for innovation in healthcare education, curriculum development, accreditation processes, and interdisciplinary research. I have successfully led numerous national and international research projects focused on diabetes, cardiovascular health, rehabilitation, and neurophysiology, and have mentored several PhD scholars. My postdoctoral fellowship at G.B. Pant Hospital, New Delhi, deepened my expertise in metabolic disorders and chronic liver diseases. In addition to my academic contributions, I hold multiple patents, have authored several book chapters, and serve on editorial boards of reputed journals. I take pride in integrating technology into education, upholding ethical standards in research, and fostering collaborations with industry and academia. I am committed to nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals and advancing knowledge that improves health outcomes and quality of life.
