About
Currently working as Research Professor under the Brain Pool Program at the University of Seoul, South Korea. Over 6 years of postdoctoral and 3 years of faculty experience.
My research focuses on advanced functional materials, covalent organic frameworks (COFs), polymer design and functionalization, and sustainable water and wastewater treatment technologies. Particularly engaged in the ultrafast and selective removal of PFAS using post-modified 2D/3D COFs, emphasizing adsorption mechanisms, surface engineering, porosity control, and material regeneration for both short- and long-chain PFAS.
Earned Ph.D. in Chemistry from IIT Roorkee.
Received prestigious fellowships including CSIR-JRF, KRF and BP.
Broader research spans metal oxide catalysts, advanced oxidation processes, hydrothermal liquefaction for biomass conversion, anaerobic treatment systems, and functional adsorbents based on chitosan, graphene oxide, EDTA, and β-cyclodextrin for pollutant removal.
