Dr. Danish Ansari is a dedicated researcher specializing in advanced thermal management techniques for electronics and concentrated photovoltaics. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Inha University, Korea, focusing on thermal hotspot alleviation in microprocessors using energy-efficient hybrid and composite heat sinks. His master's research delved into numerical optimization of microchannel heat sinks. Currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, in the Chemical Engineering Department, developing innovative thermal solutions (heat sinks and heat exchangers) incorporating triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) materials.
Dr. Ansari possesses a robust skill set in computational tools such as Ansys CFX, FLUENT, Fusion 360, Solidedge, etc. He is deeply committed to high-quality applied engineering research, evident in his numerous publications in esteemed journals. His innovative work includes a gyroid TPMS heat sink for electronic cooling, energy-efficient hybrid, and composite microchannel heat sinks for hotspot thermal management. Beyond microprocessors, Dr. Ansari expanded his research to address global warming concerns, presenting an innovative technique for creating isothermal heat sink for concentrated photovoltaic systems.
Notably, Dr. Ansari holds patents for hybrid and composite heat sinks with excellent hotspot mitigation performance. His contributions have been recognized with prestigious fellowships, including the Brain Korea 21 Plus fellowship at Pusan National University and the Jungseok International Scholarship at Inha University.
