Born in Dolakha. Finished my schooling from Hanumanteshwor Secondary school. Completed my Intermediate level study in Science stream from Madan Bhandari Memorial College. Under Ministry of Education, Nepal scholarship scheme received MD degree from I.P. Pavlov Ryazan State Medical University, Ryazan, Russia. Served in remote government hospital in Nepal for 2 years. After completion of 2 years service, I persued my residency in MS General Surgery at Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for 3 years.
