Dr Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak is a political scientist and former ICSSR Doctoral fellow at P.G Department of Public Administration, Utkal University. He is completed his MA from Utkal University, M.Phil from Sambalpur University and Ph.D from Utkal University, Odisha in 2021. He is a Fellow of Royal Asiatic Society, Great Britain and Ireland. He is currently working as a Visiting faculty in the Department of Governance and Public Affairs, XIM University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He also teaches at the P.G Department of Public Administration, Utkal University, Odisha from 2016 to 2018. He has been involved in teaching for last 6 years and attended several National and International conferences. He has contributed many articles in national and international journals also contributed many book chapters for edited books. He is associated with many national as well as international organizations. He is Life Member of World Association for Sustainable Development (WASAD), UK. Life Member of Global Association for Humanities and Social Science Research (GAHSSR), Malaysia. Life Member of Association for Development of Teaching Education and Learning (ADTEL), Malaysia. His research interest consists of four closely interrelated and mutually guiding programmes i.e. i) Right to Information and Digital Divide, ii) Development Administration in Odisha iii) Class Dimension of Information Society in India and iv) Transparency and Accountability in Governance in Odisha. The regional focus of my research is on the impacts of right to information act on social, cultural and economic transition of rural communities, gender relations and citizenship in South Asia, India and Odisha.
