About
I completed my B.Tech in Civil Engineering in 2013 from Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), followed by an M.Tech in Structural Engineering in 2016 from the same institution. My academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering, where I focused on the "Development of ML-based predictive models and computational optimization of concrete properties," a thesis that signifies my commitment to advancing the field of structural engineering through innovative research.
With over four years of dedicated research experience, I have contributed to over 20 research publications, underscoring my active engagement in scholarly pursuits. My research interests are multifaceted, encompassing Concrete Mix Optimization, Multi-objective Optimization, Structural Optimization, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Civil Engineering Structural Design. These areas represent the core of my academic and professional focus, reflecting my passion for integrating advanced computational techniques with traditional civil engineering principles.
In addition to my research endeavors, I have amassed approximately ten years of teaching experience, imparting knowledge to B.Tech and M.Tech students in civil engineering programs. This role has not only enabled me to share my expertise with the next generation of engineers but also to refine my own understanding and approach to teaching complex engineering concepts.
Currently, I hold the position of Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering Department at K.R. Mangalam University, Gurugram, Haryana, India. This role allows me to combine my research interests with my commitment to teaching, contributing to the academic and professional development of my students while also pursuing my own research goals.
