About
Satyajit Pramanik is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG). Before joining IITG, he worked as Assistant Professor of Mathematics at IIT Gandhinagar during July 2020 through August 2022. Prior to that he worked as a postdoctoral research assistant at the University of Oxford. Prior to that, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics (NORDITA), Stockholm University in Sweden. Dr. Pramanik received Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, Punjab, India in 2016. Prior to that he was research assistant in the same department between 2011 and 2012. He obtained M.Sc. in Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, West Bengal, India.
