About
I am a climate–crop scientist and crop modeler working at the interface of climate impacts, process-based crop modeling, and food-system resilience. My research focuses on understanding crop responses to environmental stress, using experimental and observational evidence to identify limitations in crop models, and improving the representation of these processes across scales. My work has examined waterlogging, ozone damage, rice systems, and climate impacts on agriculture, with increasing emphasis on multi-model assessment, water and greenhouse-gas management, and climate-resilient cropping systems. I am also interested in linking agricultural climate risks with broader food-system, livelihood, nutrition, and migration outcomes, particularly in climate-vulnerable regions.
