About
I did my Masters degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry with specialisation in "Marine Chemistry" from Andhra University in 2006. Subsequently, I worked as Project Assistant -III at the National Institute of Oceanography. Later, I came to the Physical Research Laboratory for a Ph.D. I was a post-doctoral fellow at the Organic Geochemistry lab of Prof. Kimitaka Kawamura at the Institute of Low-Temperature Science, Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan, during 2013-14. Later, I joined as a researcher in the "Radiocarbon lab" of Prof. Orjan Gustafson at Stockholm University, Sweden, from 2014 to 2018. After this, I was awarded the JSPS postdoctoral fellowship at the Chubu Institute for Advanced Studies, Japan, from 2018 to 2020. After that, I joined as SERB-Ramanujan Fellow in Prof. Sunil Kumar Singh's lab of CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) from Jan 2021 to June 2023. At present, I have been employed as Scientist-F at the Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences (BSIP) since june 2023.
