About

Dr. Santoshi Sengupta is a passionate researcher and a devoted academician. She received the prestigious Allianza4U Fellowship from Spain and completed her post-doctoral research at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain (2011-12). She is also a recipient of the 8th Sarojini Naidu International Award for Working Women by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (India) (2024) and the illustrious Research Excellence Award by Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun (2021, 2022, 2023).

Over a span of twenty-one years, she has to her credit more than 40 research publications in international journals of repute, including five in the ABDC A category and several in SSCI Quartile 1 journals. She has authored books on employee attrition and strategic human resources and has also contributed chapters to several edited volumes. She serves as a resource person for various FDPs and workshops, a reviewer for many high-impact journals, and a PhD examiner for several government and private universities. She has presented her research and delivered invited talks at prestigious international conferences and summits in India and abroad.
Her current research interests focus on investigating organizational success factors at the micro level by exploring individuals, their motivational drivers, engagement levels, and well-being. She prefers qualitative research inquiry, interviewing participants and delving deeply into their emotions and lived experiences.

Dr. Santoshi is currently serving as Professor in the School of Management at Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal Campus, Uttarakhand, India. Beyond academia, she is a passionate traveler who has journeyed extensively across the globe for cultural exploration, adventurous treks, and the exchange of language, culture, and cuisine. Her travel experiences enrich her classrooms, lectures, and interactions with people. Overall, she is a motivated and exuberant individual who believes in lifelong learning and seeks to integrate her expeditions, experiences, and education into a learning-centric approach.
