About
Amogh Katti obtained his PhD in computer science from the University of Reading, Reading, UK, in 2016. He received his Master of Technology and Bachelor of Engineering in computer science and engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka, India, in 2010 and 2006, respectively.
He is currently a Professor in the School of Computer Science at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. He was worked as an Associate Professor with Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management University, Hyderabad, Telangana, India, from 2022 to 2025; Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat, India, in 2022; Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India, Hyderabad, Telangana, India, in 2021; Vellore Institute of Technology – Andhra Pradesh University, India, from 2018 to 2020; and Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur, Maharashtra, India, from 2010 to 2012. He was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA, from 2016 to 2017 and a Software Engineer at Mphasis, Bangalore, Karnataka, India, in 2007. His research interests are Software Engineering, Blockchain Technology, Parallel and Distributed Computing, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and their applications, and Computer Science/Engineering Education.
Dr. Katti is a member of IEEE (SMIEEE), ACM and IUCEE.
