About
I work as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand-246174, India. My area of research is applied mathematics, which mainly works in developing numerical and analytical solutions for the study of fracture mechanics problems in smart materials such as piezoelectric and magneto-electro-elastic materials. I am also working on the following analytical and numerical techniques employed for the study of fracture mechanics problems:
1. Riemann-Hilbert/Complex Variable Approach
2. Fourier Transforms
3. Solution of Singular Integral Equations (Analytical and Numerical)
4. Extended Finite Element Method
5. Finite Element Method
6. Distributed Dislocation Method
