Dr. Nibedita Bandyopadhyay is an Assistant Professor of English at Shiv Nadar University Chennai, India. She is a PhD in English from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. In her doctoral thesis, she has worked on Postcolonial Ecocriticism and narratives of the Global South. She is a recipient of Junior Research Fellowship. She had received a prestigious fellowship from the School of Criticism and Theory (SCT) at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. She has presented her research works in renowned international and national conferences and journals. She has received prestigious travel grants like Annette K. Baxter Travel Grant from American Studies Association in 2016. She has worked in various universities in India as an Assistant Professor of English after completing her doctoral studies. She is currently working at Shiv Nadar University Chennai as an Assistant Professor. She has vast teaching experience as an Assistant Professor.
