Naveen Kumar Sharma

About

Dr. Naveen K. Sharma is currently working as Professor at the Department of Botany, Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak (M.P., India). He graduated with a Masters in Botany form Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi (U.P.), and doctorate from Jiwaji University, Gwalior (M.P.), India. He has more than 12 years of teaching and research experience. He published 28 research papers, reviews and book chapters, and has three books to his credit. His research interest includes cyanobacterial ecology with emphasis on aerial dispersal of cyanobacteria. He is a recipient of prestigious IUSSTF fellowships (2010) to work on utilization of cyanobacteria for biofuel production.
