About
Dr. Mani Gajendiran is from Peruveli, Kancheepuram District, Tamilnadu, India. He carried school studies at Government Higher Secondary School Polambakkam, Tamilnadu. He has completed B.Sc. (Chemistry) at Government Arts College for Men, Nandanam Chennai, and received M.Sc. and M.Phil. (Chemistry) degrees from University of Madras, India. He has completed Ph.D. program in the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, University of Madras in the year 2015. Then he has worked as an Assistant Professor for one year (2015-2016) in the Department of Chemistry, Vels University, Chennai. Subsequently he carried his post-doc research program at Prof. Kyobum Kim's Lab, Incheon National University, Incheon, South Korea from June 2016 - Aug 2019, and carried 2nd Post-doc program with the same professor at Dongguk University Seoul, Korea. His area of research interest is in the field of development of metal and metal oxide nanomaterials for catalytic combustion application, nanoadditives for fuels, gas hydrate formation and inhibition, biodegradable polyesters, thiolated gelatin, cationic polyesters and nanomaterials for drug delivery and tissue engineering applications. Currently he is working as a Senior Research Officer at Indian Oil R&D Centre, IOCL India.
