Biography:
Mohammed Mujahid Ulla Faiz (SM’25) received his Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering from M.N. Technical Institute, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, in 1999, and his B.E. degree in the same field from Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, in 2003. He obtained his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in 2010.
From 2004 to 2005, he was with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at K.N.S. Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, as a Lecturer. From 2005 to 2006, he worked at Mistral Solutions Private Limited, Bengaluru, as a Software Trainee. In 2006, he was with GDA Technologies Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, as a Software Engineer. From 2006 to 2010, he served as a Research Assistant in the Department of Electrical Engineering at KFUPM. From 2010 to 2014, he was a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Technology (EEET) at Hafr Al Batin Community College (HBCC), KFUPM. From 2014 to 2021, he continued as a Lecturer in the EEET Department at HBCC, University of Hafr Al Batin, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He received his Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from the University of Westminster, London, United Kingdom, in 2022. He was awarded the Globally Engaged Research (GER) Scholarship for the academic year 2022–2023 by the Graduate School, University of Westminster.
He is currently an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Presidency University, Bengaluru. He also serves as a Visiting Researcher with the Applied DSP and VLSI Research Group (ADVRG) at the University of Westminster. He completed his postdoctoral research as a Lincoln Global Postdoctoral & Researcher at Lincoln University College, Malaysia, in 2026.
He has been an IEEE Senior Member since 2025. He serves as a reviewer for several SCIE- and Scopus-indexed journals and as a Technical Program Committee member/reviewer for several IEEE flagship conferences.
His research interests include adaptive filtering, artificial intelligence, biomedical signal processing, digital signal processing, engineering education, internet of things, machine learning, and robotics.
