Dr. Shiv Prakash Mishra is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of
Chemistry at Shia P.G. College (University of Lucknow), Lucknow-226020, U.P., India. He
completed Master of Science in Chemistry with specialization of Organic Chemistry and
obtained his doctoral degree as Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in field of Chemistry having titled-
‘A Study of Polymers of V Group Elements’, under Polymer Chemistry from Dr. Ram Manohar
Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya, U.P., India, in 2010. During research work he has coordination
with University of Lucknow, Central Drug Research Institute (C.D.R.I.), Lucknow, and Indian
Institute of Technology (I.I.T.), Kanpur, U.P., India. His areas of interest included Biochemistry,
Biotechnology, Macromolecules, Nanomaterials and Genetic Engineering etc. In addition to his
professional career, he has contributed in various academic and research based perform as in
invited lecture or presenting/participating in national and international level conferences,
seminars, webinars workshops and in refresher courses with faculty induction-orientation and
development programme. His research activities has been as publication of several more than
40 plus review and research papers in varied reputed national and international
abstracted/indexed database journals as well as book chapters also with proceeding of a book .
He is a community member of American Chemical Society (ACS), Chemistry & Engineering
Newsletters (C&EN) and Chemistry World (Royal Society of Chemistry) as well.
