I am currently working as Vice-Chancellor, Shobhit University, Gangoh, Saharanpur where I have established Several Faculty/Schools/Departments/Centres in the Engineering and Technology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Management and entrepreneurship, Ayurvedic Medical Sciences and Hospital, Computer applications, Basic and applied Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law and Spirituality Research and Studies. I have served as Registrar, Dean and Director at the Shobhit University, Meerut. I have received a number of Awards such as Glory of Education Excellence Award 2013, Indira Gandhi Shiksha Shiromani Award 2012, Eminent Educationist Award 2011, Best Educationist Award2011, Indian Achiever’s Award for education excellence 2011, Bharat Vibhushan Award 2011, Rashtriya Gaurav Award 2010, Best Citizen of India award 2010 and National Gold Star award, 2009.I was the member of numerous Boards such as Board of Governors, Board of studies and Board of Examiners in different Universities and Institutions. I was a member of Board of Governors in PEC Technical University, Chandigarh. I received M.Sc. in Physics from Banaras Hindu University, M. Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and did Ph.D from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in 1984. Through my writings and research, I have established myself as one of the leading teacher and researcher in Bio-Medical Engineering. I have thirty five years of Professional and Research Experience and during this journey I taught at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, Panjab University, Chandigarh; Shobhit University and various institutions abroad including Simon Fraser University, Canada, Loma Linda University, California, and Louisiana State University Medical Centre, USA. I have guided Research for thesis supervisor and examiner for Ph.D/M.Phil. /M.Tech/M.Sc. of more than 50 students. Ihave also a patent in the field of Biosensor. I have authored, co-authored or edited sixbooks, two Journals and several research articles, reviews and published in many meetings, workshops, seminars and colloquiums at various institutions of higher learning. I have worked in five National and International sponsored projects as well as I am the life member of seven Scholarly Societies. I am also Alumni member of Banaras Hindu University, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University and Panjab University, Chandigarh.
