About

At present working on environmental factor like viral infection (CVB) converge at the β cell, the heightened ER stress generates PTM dependent neo-antigens through Ca2+-dependent enzymatic mechanisms. This leads to activation of β cell self-reactive T cells, destroying β cells and leading to diabetes in those individuals predisposed to autoimmunity.

In both human and murine models, research has focused on metabolic reprogramming to modify NK cell activities after microbial infection during postdoctoral research. To gain metabolic adaptability during TB infection, it is necessary to understand the function of nutrition receptors in NK cells.

I used natural product biochemistry during my PhD research to create anthelmintic substitutes for gastrointestinal parasites (Helminthiasis).
