About
Priyanka Shukla, PhD, is a translational biomedicine scientist and Senior Research Scientist in the Center for Macromolecular Bioscience at SRI International. Her research focuses on Molecular Guidance System (MGS) peptide technologies for cell-specific targeting and delivery of nucleic acids and other biotherapeutic payloads. She has extensive experience in flow cytometry, quantitative assay development, biomarker discovery, and translational research. Dr. Shukla has led and supported numerous commercial and research-development programs involving non-invasive small-animal imaging, including IVIS, PET-CT, SPECT-CT, and MRI, to evaluate biodistribution, target engagement, therapeutic delivery, and disease progression. Her work integrates targeted delivery, molecular imaging, and preclinical validation to advance innovative diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, including blood-based diagnostics and cancer detection technologies.
