About
I did my PhD from Indian Institute of Integrative Medicines, Jammu, where I studied the role of autophagy in cancer, For my postdoc studies, I moved to University of New Mexico, where I studied the mechanism of autophagosome formation in mammalian cells. We have published some important papers showing the mechanism of autophagosome formation in mammalian system. I recently joined IIT Kanpur as an assistant professor and my lab is interested further in studying the mechanism of mammalian autophagy initiation and role of autophagy in cancer progression .
