1. 2022: Outstanding Agricultural Scientist Award-2021 by Dr. Vasatharaj David Foundation, Madras, for significant contributions to Cotton Entomology and Higher Education.
2. 2019: Delivered an invited talk on "Insect Resistance to Bt Cotton and its Management in India" at the 8th Asian Cotton Research and Development Network (ACRDN) meeting, sponsored by the International Cotton Advisory Council (ICAC), held at Tashkent, Uzbekistan from 9-11th September 2019.
3. 2015: State level Best Scientist award (Ugadi Purashkaram), Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
4. 2013: Best lead paper award for research paper on "Refuge in Bag: A Concept in Resistance Management - An experience" at National seminar on Technology for Production and Development of Rainfed Cotton held at Regional Cotton Research Station, Navasari Agricultural University, Bharuch, Gujarat, from 24-26 October 2013.
5. 2012: Fellow of Plant Protection Association of India, 2012 by the Plant Protection Association of India, Hyderabad.
6. 2011: Central Compliance Committee (CCC) member, appointed by the Genetic Engineering Approval Committee (GEAC) of Govt. of India to monitor the Biosafety Research Level II (BRL-II) trials of transgenic cotton hybrids based on Bollgard II, Widestrike, and Bollgard II with Roundup Ready Flex technology in Andhra Pradesh
7. 2007: Dr. Bap Reddy Memorial Award for Integrated Pest Management 2004-06 for promoting I.P.M., by the Plant Protection Association of India, Hyderabad.
8. 2006: National Level Cash prize (ICAR) worth Rs. 20000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) for the Development and enactment of innovative Insecticide Resistance Management (I.R.M.) strategies, i.e., I.R.M. street play, namely ETTASEYALABBA!…., (HOW TO DO IT…..) (CICR, Nagapur)-2006.
