About

After graduating Masters in Manufacturing Technology in 2000 started the career, four years as a project engineer responsible for design and vendor development of hydraulic cylinder and components till 2004. Since 2004, engaged in academics as Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Professor (Full) and Chair of Mechanical Engineering. Active in research from 2007 and proposed Advanced Materials Science and Engineering Center of Excellence in Ethiopia. Responsible for reviewing and developing Bachelor, Master, and PhD program. Area of expertise, lightweight material processing, testing and characterization, Development of magnesium-based composites, Friction stir processing, Corrosion and Biodegradation behavior of materials applied in Oil & Gas and biomedical engineering.
