Dr. Sachin Shivaji Gaikwad is an accomplished academician and researcher with 16 years of experience in teaching, research, and pharmaceutical industry practice. He currently serves as Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Sanjivani University, Maharashtra, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and specializes in novel drug delivery systems, tablet-in-tablet technology, nanotechnology-based formulations, inhalation drug delivery, and patient-centric pharmaceutical research.
Dr. Gaikwad has authored over 36 research and review publications, 4 book chapters, and 1 book, with numerous scholarly contributions published in reputed international journals, achieving a cumulative impact factor exceeding 76. He has successfully guided 24 postgraduate (M.Pharm.) research students and actively serves as an international peer reviewer for more than 20 prestigious journals and research platforms, including Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, Nature Publishing Group, and the Marsden Fund, New Zealand. His work has gained wide recognition for advancing innovative pharmaceutical technologies aimed at improving therapeutic outcomes and patient care. Through his teaching, research, and scientific contributions, he continues to inspire future researchers and contribute significantly to the field of pharmaceutical sciences.
