I am currently working as an Assistant Professor at the College of Nursing, GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. I prioritize a learner-centered educational environment and emphasize critical thinking, effective communication, and evidence-based clinical practice. My academic and research specialization is in Medical-Surgical Nursing, with a sub-specialty in Gastroenterology.
I have extensive experience in teaching and research, with 25 published research papers and co-guidance of three undergraduate research theses. I have presented scientific papers as a featured speaker eight times at international conferences and twice at national conferences, including those held at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur, and Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi.
In recognition of my research contributions, I have received the Young Researcher Award (2021) and the Research Excellence Award (2021) from the Institute of Scholars, and the Best UG Research Category Award (2025) at the First Research Showcase & Oration–2025, organized by Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Saifai, Etawah. I have conducted a national webinar on NABH accreditation preparedness, served as a Master Trainer for WHO-supported viral hepatitis projects, and have been invited as a guest speaker on viral hepatitis at UPUMS, Saifai.
I have also demonstrated academic leadership by serving as Organizing Secretary of NURETHON 2026, a national conference attended by over 750 delegates, leading the launch of the College of Nursing E-Journal at GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, and coordinating scientific oral presentation forums to promote research dissemination among faculty and students.
I actively contribute to academic publishing as an editor and peer reviewer for several international journals and have reviewed over 300 manuscripts. I currently serve in editorial roles, including Associate and Assistant Editor positions, and as an Editorial Board Member for multiple journals under ORBiTA Academic Press and other international publishers, contributing to peer review and maintaining scholarly quality.
I am also empanelled as an Academic Counselor with Indira Gandhi National Open University (Regional Centre: Lucknow) for the B.Sc. Nursing programme.
I am FibroScan certified and have performed more than 250 FibroScan assessments under the National Free Liver Check-Up Project.
I have been appointed as a Member of the Scientific / Abstract Review Committee for the 4th International Conference on Pediatrics and Child Health, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (May 21–22, 2026). I have also been invited as an Organizing Committee Member for the Global Nursing and Health Systems Conference 2026, to be held in Utrecht, The Netherlands, contributing to scientific planning, abstract review, and international academic collaboration.
My research interests include hepatology, clinical nursing practice, research methodology, emergency and critical care nursing education, pedagogy and evidence-based practice, with a focus on mentoring future nursing professionals.
