About

Currently appointed as a Project Scientist-II in Himalayan Cryosphere Studies, at the National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR), Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Goa, India.

Awarded with a doctorate in Snow/Glacier Dynamics of Himalayan ranges and Associated Hazards. My research utilizes a myriad of remote sensing datasets including optical imagery, Digital Elevation Models (DEMs), and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), along with numerical modelling, stable isotope studies, geophysical techniques (MASW & GPR), and field investigations to understand the impacts of climate change and associated natural disasters in Himalayan Cryosphere.

I am seeking a comprehensive understanding of natural disasters, particularly slope failures in High Mountain Asia (HMA), to develop solutions and mitigation strategies from an engineering perspective, aimed at societal benefit.
