About
Dr Barkha Devi is a Ph.D holder in Nursing . The Ph.D research work was conducted under the expert supervision of Dr. Bidita Khandelwal, Director, Directorate of Research, Sikkim Manipal University, Professor and Ex-HOD Department of Medicine, SMIMS and Prof. Mridula Das, Ex-Principal,Sikkim Manipal College of Nursing (SMCON), SMU. Dr Barkha Devi has done her B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing from Calcutta University and Post Graduate Degree in Obstetrical and Gynecological Nursing from The West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata. Dr Barkha Devi is an Associate Professor in Sikkim Manipal College of Nursing. Currently she is a Programme Coordinator for MSc. Nursing Programme, Clinical Coordinator, Member, Reviewer, Editor of Scientific Committee and Research Coordinator since2012. She has several scientific papers published in National and International Journals as well as presented papers in various national and international conferences. She also received Best Presenter in Oral Presentation at World Congress on Nursing and Healthcare Summit at Bangalore in 2019. She received a 2018, SMU Pride Award for Excellence in Teaching , 2021,Young Researcher Award for her meritorious contribution towards Research and Publication and Award of Excellence in Research by Novel Research Academy on 16th November,2021
