About

My broad area of research is Biochemistry, Bioinformatics and Biotechnology. Specific area of research interest are Medical Biotechnology and Human Genetic Diseases particularly Haemoglobinopathies including Sickle Cell Anemia and Thalassemia. We have received research grants from different international and national funding agencies like GATEs Foundation, Indian Council of Medical Research, Department of Biotechnology (Govt. of India), Department of Science and Technology (Govt. of India), ASTEC, Lady TATA Memorial Trust, Ministry of Minority Affairs (Govt. of India), Ministry of Tribal Affairs (Govt. of India).
We are looking forward research collaborators from India and abroad on the mentioned areas. We welcome young researchers for Doctoral and Post Doctoral studies.
