About
In KIIT School of Biotechnology, my lab mainly focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms of plant disease defense. We use Arabidopsis and pear millet plant models to decipher the role of different transcription factors (like WRKY and bZIP) in regulating plant defense signaling against biotic stress. Recently, we also started working on the identification of bioactive compounds from indigenous medicinal plants of Odisha having anticancer activity against breast cancer.
