Dr. Sanjiv Kumar Jain is a distinguished academician and researcher in the field of Electrical Engineering, currently serving as a Senior Associate Professor (Selection Grade) in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Medicaps University, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. With over 20 years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Jain has made significant contributions in both academic instruction and scientific inquiry.
He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal, awarded in 2020, with specialization in artificial intelligence applications in power systems and renewable energy. He completed his M.E. in Power Electronics from SGSITS, Indore and B.E. in Electrical Engineering from RGPV, Bhopal.
Research Interests
Dr. Jain’s research is rooted in advancing smart grid technologies, load frequency control, renewable energy integration, and electric vehicle systems, with a strong emphasis on AI and machine learning techniques such as Black Widow Optimization, Particle Swarm Optimization, and deep learning models.
