GARR - The Italian Research and Education Network, Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism
About
I’m currently working at the Planning Office at GARR (https://www.garr.it/en/), the ultra-broadband network dedicated to the Italian research and education community. At GARR, I support ICDI (Italian Computing and Data Infrastructure), the Italian mandated organisation in EOSC-A, to strengthen the participation of Italian National Initiatives, data services, and infrastructures, and improve their level of representativeness in the EOSC ecosystem. I coordinated the Skills4EOSC Project to harmonise training and curricula for Open Science and FAIR data management in research practices.
Since 2003, I have been a consultant of the Ministry of Culture, where I was in charge of the coordination of CulturaItalia, the national aggregator of libraries, museums and archives (2007-2020) and the development of several European projects for the digitisation and networking of cultural heritage. I am currently the project manager of inDICEs (https://indices-culture.eu/), which aims to measure and assess the economic and social impact of the digitisation of cultural heritage on access to European cultural goods and services and their modes of production.
During my professional experiences, I've been involved in several European projects for the development of research infrastructures in the field of cultural heritage and digital humanities. In particular, she has been involved in FAIR data production and management, Open Science Policies and in federating services through NREN e-infrastructures.
