Dr. M. Nalini, has 13 years of working experience in the field of computing in academic institutions in Tamil Nadu, India. At present, she is working as an Associate Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering at S. A. Engineering College Chennai. She received her B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in 2010 and M. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from B. S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai, India in 2012. She was awarded Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from St. Peter’s Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai. Her PhD research title is " Design and Implementation of Efficient Approaches to Detect Anomalies and Eliminate Data Redundancy in Large Volume of Data" completed in 2018. Her research interests include Data Mining, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Networking, Cloud Computing, the Internet of Things, and the Theory of Computation. She published 6 books in Notion Press Publisher and Lulu Publication by her. She wrote and published 4 book chapters with IGI Global Publishers, Taylor & Francis and Springer Publishing. She has 61 research articles published in Data Mining, Anomaly Detection, Wireless Sensor Networks, Cloud Computing etc. Her research articles are in the Journal of Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience, Wireless Personal Communications and The Computer Journal. Her H-index is 7, her I-index is -5, and she published five patents and granted one patent, titled " IOT Based Device to Detect the Efficiency of Remote Working Using the DMS Sensor". She is recipient of Best Research Award (2019) from IASTE Awards and Best Women Faculty Award in the year of 2020 from Amaravati Research Academy’s Faculty Excellence Awards.
