Brij Bihari Tiwari

About

Prof. B B Tiwari received the M Sc (Physics) and M Tech (E &C Engineering) degree from the University of Roorkee (now IIT, Roorkee), India and Ph. D. from the University of Roorkee in 1984, 1986 and 1993, respectively. He is a professor of Electronics Engineering specializing in Photonics and Optical Communication. He currently holds the positions of Head of the Department of Electronics Engineering, Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology and the Director, Institute of Pharmacy at VBS Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, UP, India. He has published more than 110 research papers in reputed journals of the world and has been supervising Ph. D. scholars in the area of optical Communication, Wireless Communication and VLSI Technology. He is Fellow of the Institution of Engineers IE (I) and Fellow of the Institution of Electronics & Telecommunications Engineers IETE (I), India, Member IEEE and other professional bodies.
